REMIER was about contrast. One scent deepens. The other simplifies. Same specification, opposite arcs.
GRAVE is about weight. Both candles are formulated and poured to the same standard as PREMIER. The variable, again, is the fragrance architecture. The difference now is that both architectures are anchored at the base, not at the top.
CÈDRE leads with mahogany. Cedarwood and oak hold underneath. Lavender and geranium open and resolve fast, leaving the wood structure to do the work. The scent reads dry and architectural. It does not lift. It does not fade. It holds.
VEILLE leads with tobacco and spice. Vanilla, cacao, tonka bean, and tobacco blossom build the heart. Dried fruits and woody notes anchor the base. The scent reads composed rather than sweet. The room shifts toward evening. It does not announce itself. It accumulates.
Both are poured in May 2026 in Montreal using Golden Brands 464 soy wax, CD-8 cotton wicks, and fragrance oils tested at 8% load. Each candle is cured for 14 days before it is considered finished. The Calibre Card in each box is the proof.
This is what the second batch looks like when the standard does not change.
